OFFICIAL RESULTS

What are our official results? I'll start:

• I missed two days, but blogged extra to make up for it. So, I had 31 or more posts.
  
• I created a whole new blog, which I hope will become very popular. Go see it here.

LAST DAY OF NABLOWRIMO!


We did it!

Well, I missed two days. But this is the most I've blogged in a period of time, evah. How about you? Email me your thoughts, and I'll post them here (not just comments). Because of NaBloWriMo, I've found a sure-fire way to make people laugh. Making people laugh= money, in my mind. We'll see how it turns out.

Speaking of making people laugh, off I go to post what just happened.

AMY FINDS AN INCOME STREAM: FILM AT ELEVEN


Okay, I may have found an income stream. Of course, there is no income, yet. However, I think I've stumbled upon something that is just funny enough that many folks will want to read it, and I can sell advertising.

Do I dream big? Oh, yes. Will this happen? I don't know. I don't know if I will get enough word-of-mouth advertising to make it happen.

However, those posts that I'm doing, they are very similar to Overheard in New York. Only, they aren't overheard there, they are overheard in the classroom. But I can't call it that, because those people are rich now, and may sue me.

So. Any ideas about a new blog name?

Can you believe it, people? Only eight more days, and we will have successfully completed the NaBloWriMo challenge! Huzzah! And keep posting!

I have so enjoyed reading everyone's blogs! This thing has been very good for me. I have established at least an earnest feeling inside myself. This feeling says, "Go blog."

Or, "Go eat." Either one. *munch munch*

TWO WEEKS DOWN!

It's amazing, really, that we've been blogging for two weeks. I already missed a day, but oh, well. Shit happens, I guess.

I'm still going to brag! I'm still going to say, "I blogged more than I've ever blogged before!" I'll say it to strangers! I'll say it on voice mail! I'll say it in staff meetings!

Now taking bets on how many people Amy will alienate from her life.

As today is October 8, that means we've been blogging for a week, people! Good job! Keep it up! And other such motivational things!

CATERPILLARS

I have taken Sudie's suggestion and blogged about caterpillars. It took longer than two minutes, but I don't think that matters.

Need an idea? Here are a few:

• write an open letter to a public figure
• list your pet peeves
• publish your luxury wish list. with links. I've done this before.
• write a list of questions that stump you
• tell how to do something--like "how to grow tomatoes" or something
• tell a true story, but write it as if it is fiction. with dialogue. etc.

I just learned, by reading Laura's blog, that she and Danny are considering moving again. At least they aren't moving across the country again.

IMPRESSIVE

Tech In Black, one of our NaBloWriMo participants, is in Manila. As in, the Phillippines. And, he went there DURING our challenge here. So, he has been blogging daily, even though he traveled to and is working in Manila. Without sleep.

I would like to inform all who read this, especially the participants of NaBloWriMo, that Adelay (Tech in Black) has universally named us as "slackers," in a comment on the post previous to this.

Sudiegirl asked if she could beat him up. Of course, I reviewed our policy toward non-violence with her. She has yet to get back to me. I suppose Aaron could let us know how he is feeling, and we'd know that way, too, if she got my memo.

Anybody wanna let me know how it's going? Is it difficult? Easy?

I am alreadys struggling with this. I can't seem to find the time to do it, which is exactly why I'm doing it.

I'm too busy for my own project. Of course, I knew this would happen. That's why I'm doing this--I feel an obligation to carry it forward.
